This book is a brilliant and well-organized collection of the precious writings of Shaykh al-Islam Taqi ud-Din Ahmad ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah). For anyone who wants to understand who Ibn Taymiyyah was, what he believed, and how he lived—without reading through his many large and often complex books—this collection is great. It gives you a strong and clear overview of his thoughts and teachings in one place. However, it’s important to note that this book is not for complete beginners. To truly benefit from it, you should first have some basic understanding of Islamic sciences and history, especially when reading parts related to logic and reasoning. Having some background knowledge will help you understand his words better and benefit more from his wisdom.
